Painting Impressions
My recent urge to get back to painting again prompted this direction. There are two types of impressions included in this gallery: ones that take on a watercolor look and ones an oil painting look. For the watercolor pieces it took about a dozen of them before I introduced blending in a texture that resembles watercolor paper, and I even began splattering them with random color, similar to what I did with my actual watercolor paintings. As to the oil ones I have tried to simulate loose brushstrokes in the process. I seem to continually refine the processes for each, so they seem to be constantly evolving--as they all do, I suppose.
