Our eye can only focus on one area at a time, and that feature is what I'm attempting to reproduce in these images. The process involves separating various areas of the photograph, and then controlling the in-focus regions to mimic the eye. In doing so one begins to sense a surreal-ness to the normal view not found in a non-manipulated image.
