Recently, September, 2013, the Ohio Valley Camera Club MeetUp group set up an afternoon of shooting injured birds of prey with a raptor preserve in Milford, Ohio. Many of the birds were just too injured to ever to be released, but a significant number are. It was an amazing experience, and one that enabled me to get up-close-and-personal with the magnificent creatures, including the butt-ugly Turkey Vulture.
