Got a wild hair to take a long 2 1/2-week road trip, and New Mexico beckoned. Not thinking in terms of destination, but rather a journey, and a slow-paced one at that, I took in much of the country en route and heading home. After a week's stay south of Albuquerque the next stop was Santa Fe, and then north into Colorado. The tent got a good workout.
